But i have to say this, having played WoW recently.
We will definetly need to enforce some strict rules on RPing, the RP servers in WoW were mostly filled with dudes who think they'll get an edge if they 24/7 an RP server(not that they're wrong, most good rpers level like snails)or they try to RP an <opposing faction name here> hating hunter resulting in dialogs like:

Trying to RP MR. X:hi, who are you?
Dude:Hi i'm <name> and i hunt <faction name here> members because <over used/dumpy reason here> and now i have to go hunt some more, bye.

Then, if you've finally managed to find some really rping people you keep getting interupted by those people mentioned above thus spoiling the whole thing for me.
A good example of RPing: Neverwinter Nights: here i've seen some of the best RPing ever online, mostly because the communities are much smaller and thus easy to manage, but here it if often like this: you submit a character with a biograpy describing his history and personality and then, when the mods aprove your char, you make it and you play, this way you'll never even see un rping people in your world.

Another thing is: often people in WoW will make their guild chat(or any other channel will be declared so) an RP channel, this is just stupid, everything that is being said to you by people who are not directly near you spoils the mood for me and thus making it all obsolete.
